Medical spas are able to treat certain conditions such as, discoloration of the skin, hair removal, Botox, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. While a spa is known for its relaxing and calming feel, a medical spa looks more like a clinic and hospital. A client usually always wants to know the qualifications that the person who is working on them has, so they are assured they are getting the best treatment. If you work at a medical spa as a doctor or esthetician, then it is up to you to consult with your client to determine what treatment she needs. As a professional, you must be qualified to discuss the treatment offered and the results the client will face, both positive and negative. It is always best to determine what the client wants from the treatment, and then find out what treatment will be the best for their skin type.
