If, however, you suffer from excessive palm and sole sweating, you may need to find an alternative treatment. People have mainly seen skin irritation as a side effect. If neither antiperspirant brings you relief, then you can ask your doctor about iontophoresis. Simply it is a process that causes electricity to pass through the skin using tap water. Sessions will start at several times per week and gradually taper off as sweating subsides. You will need a doctor's prescription to purchase the devise and it is sometimes covered by insurance.
