If you suffer from excessive underarm sweating, this will most likely be exactly what you need. If, however, you suffer from excessive palm and sole sweating, you may need to find an alternative treatment. People have mainly seen skin irritation as a side effect. If neither antiperspirant brings you relief, then you can ask your doctor about iontophoresis. Simply it is a process that causes electricity to pass through the skin using tap water. Sessions will start at several times per week and gradually taper off as sweating subsides. You will need a doctor's prescription to purchase the devise and it is sometimes covered by insurance.
